A panorama of Comet C/2020 F3 NEOWISE setting in the evening skies over the Mauna Kea Observatories. From right to left is Gemini Observatory, Canada France Hawaii Telescope, NASA Infrared Telescope Facility, the twin W. M. Keck Observatory, and Subaru Observatory. In the lower left the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope can be seen lit up. The bright glow of city lights from Honolulu can be seen over the horizon behind Keck. Part of our Milky Way Galaxy can be seen on the right behind Gemini, while the bright diffuse glow of the zodical light can be seen on the left side.

A brief background - I was born and raised in southern California, and went to school there until I completed my high school education. I then attended the University of California at Berkeley, where I received my Bachelors degree in physics and astrophysics.
