Artist's Description

Antelope Canyon Navajo Tribal Park, Arizona. These canyons were carved naturally out of Navajo sandstone by water from distant thunderstorms and wind. It may seem counterintuitive that such canyon can be carved in a dry and arid environment. These thunderstorms occur many miles away before the runoff rushes through the canyon at up to 70 miles per hour, all the while under blue skies.

A brief background - I was born and raised in southern California, and went to school there until I completed my high school education.
